Lock One Park, along the Cumberland River, is a short drive away. Five Points in East Nashville is about 10 minutes away. Germantown's restaurants are about eight minutes by car. Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park is about 10 minutes by car.

I-65 is close by, which makes Nashville International Airport and downtown easy. A car is useful for exploring.
